Perry Co. Shoes is a woman-owned business dedicated to creating unisex clothing and accessories. Their brand ethos centers around Breaking Barries, so as the lead Writer, I suggested a campaign that flips gender roles on its head where everyone still thrives in their element.

I had the pleasure of interviewing and crafting an article covering the owner, Brittney Perry’s journey in builing Perry Co. Shoes.

On set, we were down an Art Director, but I still wanted to capture a video.
So I recorded BTS footage, paired it with VO I selected from her interview and handled the first round of edits before passing it off to the editor and colorist.

Body Butter Lady 〰️

Body Butter Lady is a business that focuses on simple and natural skincare. They sell handmade body oils, soaps, and lotion, using an old family recipe that softens the shea butter.

The products’ natural ingredients inspired us to create an au natural shoot.

With tables from my bedroom, flowers, and eucalyptus from the local shop, we scraped together a set design rooted in nature.

WHENSMOKECLEARS is a premium American streetwear company founded by Thermal and K$ace. As the lead writer, I interviewed the owners, selected which sound bites could be used for their film, and crafted their banner copy.
